Recording using fx slicer repeat mode?

Hello Forum members,

I have tried to record over a simple 4 beat pattern using fx slicer on repeat mode.Now it works just listening in real time,but when I press record,use the effect then play back the changes the fx effects are not there,just the four simple beats.I have tried the same method using fx roller and it records fine.I have quantise on and off during the experiment.Any pointers would be gratefully received. Hi Champ,

I'm using the software version 1.6.1.1  I have realised it is not possible to record slicer or filter without using a daw However I am trying fl studio trial.Had some success but I am now struggling with fl.Wish I could get my hands on a cheap Cubase 5 package.Maybe some of the slimmer versions would do the job. thanks.
