today i tried to download analog lab on a second computer but it said the authorisation code was used.
can i only instal it on one computer? is this the same for other arturia softwear such as spark and modular v?

Hello,
By default yes, I think so. At lease it was the case for the V-Collection I bought recently and they should change that as many users have 2 machines (Desktop + Laptop).
Contact the support and ask for another code.

You can run the programs on as many computers as you like. You need to get a Steinberg Key Dongle and load whatever arturia licenses you have onto it.
Everybody gets 24.95 for them, here's a link from a trustworthy source:

Arturia has a guide for licence transfer to a dongle here

Then you simply transfer the dongle when you want to use a different computer. Yeah. I know it's a PITA having to use a dongle.
