Another R8 kit

Just to add to Terrys excellent R8 kit I did this one from my R8M


as it has no sequencer I'll prolly record quite a few so I can use them in Spark...Recorded/resampled through a GAP 73 mkII preamp and tape sat mojo added through nebula, as well as some EQ/Comp from UAD plugs

this is one of the drum sets sampled that i could afford, maybe i will look into the real deal haha.

Its not a bad sounding machine but its a bit dated...though you can find good sounds in it if youre willing to process them a little more

I have a few of the cards, dry, dance, electronic...the latter are excellent but cost more than the R8M

The R70 is prolly a better buy, has most of the sounds and humanising, but i like xoxox sequencers more so sampling it is

They actually compliment each other pretty well...now that bloody batch midis been fixed

Indeed midi batch was well overdue..i find Spark to be a temperamental little bitch sometimes but i got it for the vintage emulations..one day i WILL own a DMX
