Major issue with the BPM
« on: January 20, 2013, 05:24:22 pm »
Hi, I've got some major trouble with the bpm..

If I start a song at let's say : 110 bpm and I want to slighty increase it, when i touch a little bit the knob, it will instantly drop to +- 20 bpm bellow.. And after that if I get back to my original bpm wich was 110, the tempo will not sound the same that he originaly was..

Also sometimes but not every time, when I touch the shuffle Knob, it will also decrease the tempo, but It won't change the tempo value on the display !

I just tried again, if I turn the tempo knob just slightly up, it will exactly decrease 16.5 bpm bellow ! so if I was originaly at 110 bpm and I want to go back to my original value I've got to set the tempo to 130.. pretty weird..

Hi,
this is very weird.
what OS are you running?
Can you check the messages sent by the controller with midi-ox (Windows) or MIDI Monitor (Mac OS)?

I doesn't come from the controller, I have tried with only the software (stand alone mode) and it's the same !

My computer spec :

I3 quadricore 3.2ghz

Windows 7 64bit

Generic soundcard with asio driver

4go ram

Hi,
this is really weird.
Are you in standalone or in VST?

Heya,

as a fellow windows user,
I tried to replicate,
bpm jumps by increments of (approx 1.3) when using the mouse in standalone mode but the shuffle mode has no effect on tempo for me.

quite strange  ???

eeeek!
