Weird Swing Behaviour
« on: February 08, 2013, 08:46:55 pm »
Hi

I have noticed that when i have the arpeggiator on 16th notes swing 1 & 2 are the same as each other, the same goes for 3 & 4 and 5 & 6.

on 8th notes all the swings are different from each other, as they should be.

I presume all the Minibrutes are the same. im on the latest firmware.

Im not sure if this was on purpose or a missed bug.

You're right, it's a limitation of the arppeggiator.
As midi clock messages are sent 24 time by quarter notes, at 1/16, available time subdivisions are limited to 3: 50%, 66% and 83%.
It could have been interpolated, but we thought that the required work, would not be worst the user benefit.

Ok thanks

I've got a workaround now, just double the tempo and put the arp on 8ths.
