I am new... Midi-Mapping - please help
« on: November 17, 2015, 09:19:03 am »
Hey there,

I tried in another section of this forum... maybe someone can help me here.

I want the software Spark 2 to have a very normal general Midi Mapping. Means the mapping that I know of every drumset from Logic to EZ-Drummer.

I changed the prefs but there is no way for me to get e.g. the bass drum on C-1. Snare and Clap and some others already have the right mapping for me.

Where do I assign the Midi-Note for the instrument (or the pad)?

Thanks a lot for your support.

((Some guy had the same question in this forum. 218 people saw it... noone answered. Somebody out there?))

It's in the manual, which is a common reason why a question gets no answers.

on Mac, Command+click a pad.  On Windows, Ctrl+click a pad.  Section 6.7 in the manual.

Thanks a lot...

Support helped me out and had another solution: Standard Drums in Spark begin with C3 (and following notes).

I'd rather stick to that an transpose my Midi-Patterns.

Cheers
