Got it to work! The demo is working with NO HELP FROM ARTURIA WITH INSTALLATION GUIDELINES. Luckily for them, I really need a good Mg sound or I'd be going elsewhere...still considering buying an actual MiniMg as it's probably more cost effective! Give me some news on AAX?
So, the trick is...and this isn't given in any kind of instructions...is that when you run the elicense you have to hit the little button on the right to 'start activation period'. Here is how I installed the MINIV demo and it's working in PT 10 on my system:
- Backed up system
- Verified Back up
- Downloaded eLicense software
- Installed eLicense
- Set up Arturia membership
- Signed up for Demo by entering email info
- Checked email for 'Activation code'
- Downloaded 'MiniV' demo
- Installed 'MiniV' (standard install on Mac HD)
- Ran 'MiniV' standalone
- On 'splash' screen, went to 'activate'
- Hit 'next'
- Entered 'Activation code'
- eLicence started
- Entered 'Activation code'
- This is the important part - I selected the 'license' in eLicense control
- Then hit the 'refresh' style button on the far right that 'Starts activation period'- Closed all that down up confirmation
- Deleted PT prefs/database
- Ran disk utilities and repaired permission
- Reboot
- On restart - Ran PT 10.3.2
- MiniV loaded on splash
- Opened existing project
- Opened 'MiniV' as instrument
MOOOOOAAAGwwoooooOOOOG!
For others wondering, check my system specs in my sig.
