Firmware Update Version 1.0.2
« on: November 20, 2012, 02:13:01 pm »
Hi
I'm looking for Beta testers, to install and test the latest MiniBrute Firmware version.

Most interesting people would be some that:
 * Already know some of theses bugs.
 * Have a good knowledge of the machine.
 * Use the machine with a DAW, or other synth,  or modulars
 * Are ready to spend some time to give me feedback, and answer to my questions if need.
 * Have multiple platforms and usage context to perform tests.

If you're interested please MP me. Please describe your setup in the message. and please keep in mind that Beta testing is a real work, don't ask for the update juts to have it couple of week before the release. You would probably be disappointed....

A soon as validated I'll post it on the forum.

Release Note:

Quote
**********************************************
* Arturia MiniBrute Firmware Update V1.0.2.1 *

 * Arp does not work properly if the machine is powered up with Tempo knob at minimum
 * Arp heavy usage make the machine crash

 * Bug in Arp time sorted mode: In ON mode, notes were not sorted properly in UP/DNW and RAND.

CHANGED:

 * Midi keyboard Mapping changed: Center C in Octave 0, is now Midi Note 60, instead of 48.

Uncorrected Known Issues:

Thanks!

Hi,
your problem is not related to a firmware update. I think one of the cable inside the machine is not properly connected.
Please open a ticket at the technical support, you will get help to fix it.

To be sure where should we respond with non issues on the 1.0.2 firmware. just to report that bug fixes are verified to be working correctly? I would imagine it best to not email confirmations of properly working functions...

it's always good surprise to receive a bug report saying there are no bugs :)
Just send me a quick mail to the address provided, telling on with platform it has been tested. It will allow some traceability.
Anyway thanks for the testing!
