Keyboard/controller suggestions for MiniMg

Hello,
I just purchased a Macbook Pro and have the demo of the MiniMg.

I was wondering if anyone can give me suggestions on a keyboard so I can control all the different knobs and such on the virtual Mg. I 've seen a lot around with keys but not a lot out there with knobs. I suppose I need to look more but i figured I would check in here to see what ideas you could give me.
I don't have an interface right now but looking at an MBox 2 or a Firebox.
Will it make a difference in the way that the keyboard connects i.e MIDI, USB, Firewire?

I use an E-MU XBoard 49. It got the best reviews on Harmony Central and has served me very well both in the studio and live for about a year now. It has 16 knobs and is powered from the USB bus.
