VCF CUT does'nt open the filter fully

The VCF CUT does'nt open the filter fully. Only when adding MOD amount to the filter it get fully opened.

The Default preset actually have the MOD applied in a center position, but i don't think it should. It should be fully down. Turn the MOD down, then it's clear to hear the CUT does'nt open the filter fully by it self.

EDIT: I've attached the txt from the original manual. Did the hardware actually work different? I have'nt used a hardware JP8 for many years, so i can't remember. But i think the CUT opened the filter fully. Am i wrong? EDIT END

It's such a thing that can make some people think a filter sounds dull, if they only use the Cutoff and not the Mod, if the Cutoff does'nt behave like it should.

I post here even if it's not about Jup-4 but about the same.

Something similar is happening in the OP-XA V and the Prophet 5 V.
Turn of Keytracking in both. When Cutoff is at max, then Env mod add to the cutoff. So does the Keytracking. The strange thing is, that if you add full Env modulation to the Cutoff, then the filter is opened so the cutoff does'nt add more filter. Perhaps only the cutoff is wrong or perhaps the cutoff and the Filter mod amount has been switched.
I'm not sure if the current behavior is correct behavior, but it seems odd to me and look like bugs. It at least is very strange that the Env mod amount by it self open the Cutoff more than the Cutoff can do by it self.
Will Arturia please have a look at this too?

Hello LBH,
After investigating this is not a bug.
Vintage Synths often have very low cutoff frequencies, they do not open the filter fully and we had to rely on the ENV VCF to open it up further.
Anyway that is a very nice catch !

Just strange. Also when the original Jupiter-8 manual specificly mention the env mod should have no effect.
