Analog Lab V sound bank vs. Website soundbank
« on: March 13, 2023, 03:07:48 pm »
I recently DL'd a few of the free soundbanks. I went into the software center and downloaded them but they do not appear when I open the Analog Lab plugin and look at my soundbanks. In fact many of the soundbanks that appear on the website do not show up in the plugin store. Any ideas?

Hello,

I went into the software center and downloaded them
You can't download free soundbanks through ASC (Arturia Software Center). You must mean something else.

they do not appear when I open the Analog Lab plugin and look at my soundbanks
You have to install a soundpack before it's available.

In Analog Lab you can select the view "Store". There you can both download and install presets.
The soundpacks should show under "My Products" on your Arturia account.

Soundpacks can also be downloaded directly from the Soundstore Website as an installer you can run. You still need to be sure the soundpacks are activated through the Store in Analog Lab. (Pigments also have a Store for Pigments presets only.)

In fact many of the soundbanks that appear on the website do not show up in the plugin store
Which Website page excactly?
All presets should be found in Analog Lab - at least a short time after they are released.
Can you give an example of a soundpack you can't find in ALVs Store?

Thanks LBH,

I went to this web page https://www.arturia.com/sounds. There I added the free soundbanks. I installed them and under my products it shows as registered but they do not appear in my soundbanks when I click into Analog Lab plug-in. As an example, Graphyt bass shows on the that website but not in the plug-in store.

Graphyt Bass is a soundbank for Arturias hardware synth Polybrute. It can't be used by Arturias software instruments. That's why it's not in Analog Lab Store. It's the same for other presets made for Arturias hardware.
