Arturia CS-80 V4 - Set Key Range
« on: January 23, 2023, 01:45:02 am »
Is it possible set the key range on the synth so that the synth only responds to MIDI notes below C2?

I would like to set the synth up in Cubase and have another synth set up and split the key ranges so that C2 and below is playing the CS-80 and notes above C2 are triggering Kontakt, but I can't figure out how to set the key range for the CS-80, or if it's even possible.  Thanks for any insight.

I don't think it can. Is this not something you can do in Cubase via some kind of midi filtering?
Alternatively, most midi controllers with 49 keys or more allow you to split the keyboard into two or more channels. Maybe you can split your unspecified midi controller into two midi channels and set the CS80 to only receive on the channel you have assigned to the lower half.
