Author Topic: Is anyone using KeyLab Essential as DAW controller for Reason?  (Read 769 times)

I just want to know if this can even be done before I try figuring it out.

Right now I can't even upgrade the firmware even though the MIDI control software recognizes the keyboard but the firmware update error's that it can't detect it. I'm not optimistic.

I can add the keyboard as a DAW controller in Reason manually (it wont autodetect) it see's the keyboard on the midi port, but then of course there is no actual functionality, it wont control anything.

what version of Reason are you using ?
By the way, my Keylab 49 essential is not detexted by MCC ...
Ijust boughtmine one week ago and I.m thinking to send it back to the shop, because it's really a pain in the "mass" :(
