Not sure if this was already discovered, however I found that if I route via USB a MIDI note to the Keystep while an arpeggio is running, the arpeggio is transposed. Much like what happens with the sequencer, however just from an external source.
For instance, in Ableton Live I route another MIDI keyboard output to Keystep MIDI input (USB)
