PBC doesn't interact with my PB from Ableton Live

I'm kind of lost here. PBC works fine as a standalone, and the PB sends audio to the audio track in Ableton. But PBC in Ableton won't send or receive any midi or information to and from the PB.
Is there some settings I need to adjust for this to activate somehow? It tells me to press connect when I start up PBC in Ableton but there doesn't seem to be anything else I can do.

Edit: It seems PBC just doesn't work properly inside ableton for me. I managed to got things to work with an external instrument.

In your Ableton midi settings, do you see both PolyBrute MIDI and PolyBrute VST listed as ports? Nothing needs to be checked for the VST port, but it's a good check to confirm that it shows up and the driver is working properly.
