I don't own any Keystep yet, and don't own any hardware sequencers per se, though I do have gear and software which includes sequencers.
So if I get a Keystep, I want it basically as an easy sketcher. That is:
- Play a simple sequence in real-time or step-time via keys
- Play it back
- In reviewing a step, revising the notes
I wouldn't use the sequence to compose an entire song.
Would the Keystep 37 do this? I'm especially concerned about how easy it is to review and edit any step. Someone on another forum said I could only edit the most recent step.
