Hi,
Complete newbie here when it comes to MIDI and external instruments in Cubase. I want to sync my 2s with Cubase via USB and the older thread in this forum suggests creating an external instrument to do just that. When I try to create an external instrument, Cubase wants to associate a MIDI device with the external instrument. There is no template for the 2S inside Cubase and I'm not having a lot of luck googling around for one.
So here are my questions:
1) Do I need to do this? Or is this an extra step?
2) Is there a template for the 2S that I can load into Cubase?
3) If there isn't, what template should I use?
