I use velocity a lot for expressive purposes.
But using the default, I guess linear, even the lightest touch could not be produced in normal playing.
So set it to log, which is almost there where I want it.
But most common for keybeds are at least 2 each side of linear.
Some have an calibration for it what is to be lightest and hardest you play.
So could be part of things you calibrate as a setting.
