A number of genuine new members take time to vent their understandable frustration at the site security / captcha settings.
I hear your pain, but unfortunately the forum is a prime target for spammers. The first lines of our defence against the spammers are the much-hated Captcha and security settings. Even with these defences in place, myself (as a volunteer mod) and Arturia staff are typically spending time deleting upto 100 spam posts a day in an attempt to keep your online experience safe and relevant. Were it not for the existing security measures, the onslaught of spam would be far worse and would probably be unmanageable.
The forum is in the process of being upgraded, which hopefully will help ease everyone's frustrations. In the meantime, please bear with us, as we battle the barrage of daily inbound flack to keep this place safe and enjoyable for genuine members.
