Mini V external input
« on: October 11, 2020, 02:55:05 pm »
Hello,

how do I feed an audio track into Mini V's external input?

I've tried sending it via Mini eFX as an insert or a send on an FX channel, and on its own bus. All three I either get silence or it overloads and I get a rasping noise.

I guess I am doing something wrong, but I can't see any guide in the manual.

I'm using Mini V2 at the moment. My DAW is Cubase 10.5,

Thanks

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

FYI: Legacy products like Mini V2 has a Legacy forum down the forums main page. You have posted in the forum for the current Mini V.
Mini V3 btw have no FX plugin.

You insert the Mini V2 FX just like any other effect. But keep in mind, that you also have to play the keys on Mini V2/ or play by using recorded midi notes, to get the audio tracks sound send through it. This you btw don't have to do with Arturias Filter MINI effect https://www.arturia.com/products/software-effects/filters-bundle/mini-filter.

You also need to enable external audio input and adjust the input level in Mini's Mixer section. The external audio switch should be fully right - not to the left and not in the middle.

Hope this helps.
