I have tried two methods of syncing BPM (for usage with ARP/Seq) the PolyBrute from my DAW. Neither of these two methods work.
1. PolyBrute Connect doesn't seem to send the DAWs BPM to the PolyBrute. Nothing is received. Other things work fine between Connect VST and PolyBrute.
Is this supposed to work or is it a bug?
2. Using Send Clock from DAW via MIDI (USB) to PolyBrute actually receives the clock but it is intermittent and not steady, it varies at about ±2 BPM and makes the Arp and Seq not usable. This seems like a bug of some sort.
I don't have these problems with other MIDI enabled hardware or VST's. I use Cubase 12 on Windows.
The only workaround I found is to manually set the BPM on the PolyBrute for each patch which is far from ideal.
