Pigments 3 Wavetable FM artifacts
«

Hi everyone,
Is it just me or is the FM knob on the wavetable engine of the new update producing some really unpleasant artifacts when you turn it? Turning it at even moderate speeds on the default sine patch produces unpleasant clicks that I don't think were there before the update? Has anyone had the same experience, or am I just going mad?
thanks

I haven't found that to happen here.
However, I use a Presonus 24C USB interface, and the ASIO driver for that seems to generate a lot of noise with P3 (like CPU overload - but it's running at 20%)(not happening with P2 or any other package).
Switching back to ASIO4All clears that up.

Ah okay, thanks. I tried all the different audio engines with my interface and had the same problem, with some sounding even worse. Oh well, could just be my old 2016 laptop, after all, even though Pigments is my favourite synth it does eat my cpu.
