Hey there! Coming from the modular synth world, I'm relatively new to this kind of gear. In regards to the rig I'm putting together, I want to avoid having to invest in another hardware drum machine, so I was hoping to just slap FL Studio on a notebook computer and do it that way. Is there an easy to to use Beatstep Pro to force FL Studio to simply play when its told to, and conform to tempo and sequence length? I'm not even sure if it can tell FL Studio to do the latter two things

I have no interest in using the Beatstep Pro to control parameters or live program or anything of that sort. I just need FL Studio to fall in line with everything else I've got going, just like a DrumBrute would.
