KEYLAB 49 MK2 Slider Screech
« on: January 16, 2021, 09:06:54 am »
Hi All

I've recently purchased the Keylab 49 Mk2 and when I move any slider up or down I get what I'd describe as a screeching sound.
Has anyone else experienced this or know of a solution?

Many Thanks
Iceman

Hi,

Sorry for the troubles,

If you're hearing this it's because you're monitoring the daw mode messages which should only be used in the Control surface section of ableton.

On Mac this is labelled as the DAW Port or Port 2 and on windows MIDIIN2 or Port 2,

Do make sure that you do note have anything enabled for these input and out entries in the preferences of the midi ports in Live and you should be good.

If any issue persists do not hesitate to reach us directly over at support !

Best.
