Audiofuse Rev. 2 - Instrument input too hot
« on: March 12, 2023, 06:20:23 pm »
Hi folks,

Longtime Arturia customer, but new to the forum. I'm using an Arturia Rev. 2 as an interface to send my electric guitar to an amp simulator (OVerloud TH-U, if it matters). I have found that my guitar input is consistently too hot, getting into the clipping range within even moderately hard playing (as monitored in the hardware and software). This is the case even with the channel gain fully counterclockwise (and "inst" engaged). I suppose that I could engage the pad as well, but that doesn't seem like something that would typically be necessary. I suspect that this is user error somewhere, but I'd appreciate any feedback that folks might have.
