Output and Insert confusion

Hello,

I'm struggling with a very basic routing issue.
I want to use stereo guitar pedals as ext. effects in Ableton using my Audiofuse Studio.
What is the right way of doing it?

Aux out or Insert?

Insert acts on input signal before it is converted to digital. There is no way to output audio to it that way from Ableton.

The right way of doing it is Aux out, set to DAW input in AudioFuse Control Center.
