Hello. I am trying to configure settings for the knobs on my Minilab MKII in MIDI Control Center but I am having trouble. Currently, I have the knobs set to the default setting (absolute) in which the knobs set the value of the parameter they are mapped to based on how the knobs themselves are turned.

What I want to change is that instead of knobs setting the parameter to a specific value when they are turned, they add or subtract to the current value so I can for example turn a knob on a synth with my mouse and then turn it a bit more with a knob on the minilab.
I would also like to control the sensitivity of the knobs so that they change the parameter slower or faster depending on what I set it to.

Please tell me if these settings are possible, and if so, how I can set them. Thanks

Hi and welcome.

I don't own a minilab, but have you checked the manual to see if there's an option to change the knobs from absolute to relative? This I think would do what you require and would probably be accomplished via the Midi Control Center, if at all.

There are 3 alternative relative settings on the knobs but for some reason they aren't actually relative and just control a set of values from like 62-68 for example which is strange and I don't know what that would be used for or why none of them are actually relative also the manual is very hard to understand and it doesn't seem to go into any detail about the knob settings and whatnot
