Missing voice on VCO1 when sent to Steiner Parker
« on: February 16, 2022, 07:46:02 am »
Hey all!
My PolyBrute arrived today, and unfortunately there seems to be an issue with one of the voices. This is only apparent when VCO1 is routed to the Steiner Parker filter, one voice of the six is missing and skips when pressing a key repeatedly. The weird thing is VCO1 is fine when going to the ladder filter, and VCO2 is fine regardless of filter.
The issue also seems to arise when polyphony is set to mono, VCO1 > Steiner Parker = No Sound.
I was hoping it was user error, but I don't think so :(
Edit: I updated firmware, but issue remains.

Update: I've just discovered that the corresponding voice on VCO2 is twice as loud as the other voices on VCO2 when pointed to the Steiner Filter.

Hi,

The same problem here. After some various tests I realize, thats this happen only when BP filter is activated on steiner filter. Do you still have your instrument? Can you check this?

problem solved:

One of the 6 analog boards had bad connectivity thru PCI connector. Unplug, clean and replug the board solved this problem.
