Analog Lab V can only record automation in "Write" in Logic

Hi
The issue is that Analog Lab V can only record automation in Write-mode (using Logic 10.5). Once I have recorded using 'Write' and can switch to 'Touch'.
All other Arturia instruments and Logic stock VST's work fine - so this is an Analog Lab specific issue.
Any ideas why?
