I have midi out of Keystep Pro into Volca Dum, midi settings are correct to the point where I can play all the drums and sequence them via the ksp. The only thing I cant get is the mute function from the ksp, I can get it to play the drums with keys and sequence. Even when I hold the mute button and pick the tracks individually on the keys, it still wont mute.
EDIT: SOLVED - I'm silly, there were steps on the volca that were playing when I hit mute. Once I cleared them the KSP stopped sending signal when i muted.
