Hi there,
I would like to add some effects to my drums by using the individual outputs of my drumbrute. The idea is to use effect units of a eurorack.
I was wondering if it is possible to use stackable cables when I want to share an effect path or if I need to use an additional mixer to do that.

For example:
I want to add a delay to my CLAP and the SNARE. Can I simply use two output cables and stack them in the effect unit input? Or do I need to use an audio mixer and then pass the mixers output to the effect unit input?

Cheers

Ok, after a little bit more online research I've learned it's better to not use stackable cables for inputs, but only for outputs of modular gear.
So it seems that I need an additional mixer.
If anyone has made different experiences let me know.

Cheers

Yeah it's a bad idea to mix two different outputs into a single input with stackables or mults: https://youtu.be/NpF5A3TFPTo
