program changes in Jupiter 8V

don't mean to be obtuse, but I'd like to use the Jupiter 8v in standalone mode.  can't for the life of me figure out how to get the thing to respond to program changes.  any thoughts?  Blessings, P

You post in the JUP-8 forum, but write the name Jupiter-8 V, so are you talking about the old Jupiter or the new? Which version?

In JUP-8 V3 program change should work using playlists.

Ahh, Bach...Well, that could explain it.  I use Jupiter 8V v 2.7.  I'm hip to the playlist function in some of the other soft synths.  maybe my version doesn't support it.

In Jupiter-8 V2 program change should work for preset select within the selected bank, and bank select should change banks.
I wonder why this does'nt work out of the box for you. It has been a long time since i tried, but as i recall it worked.

Perhaps it's something else than the Jupiter-8 V2 that's the problem.
