Granular Start position moving only once a key is released...

Hello folks

Wondering is anyone has an idea on how to do this. I'd like to have the Start position moves forward only when a key is releases. In other words to make it more clear hopefully, I'l like the granular Start position to stay at its original position as long as a key is maintained, but once it is released the Start position starts to move forward.

I'm feel there must be a way to program that but I can't figure out...

Hi,

You can modulate the parameter by using the Release time from a Function that's set to a envelope mode or from a Envelope, as the release time is starting when a key is released.

The parameters initial setting, the modulation amount and it's polarity, the sustain points and in example a functions set points and curves will all have and impact on the modulation, so you can have full control over the parameters value at any time - especially when using Functions in envelope mode.

Once again LBH, fantastic tip. Well thought, indeed the Function set as Envelope works like magic, exactly the way I was looking for with a full Start release as soon as I release a key. Quite a cool way to granulate a sound
