Help! My old patches from v.1 aren't showing up in v.2!

Ok guys Im going crazy!

I have Logic 7.1 and I update the Mg Modular t version 2. I have a bunch of older tracks that I have made with the older version of the Mg (version 1) but version one wont work in Logic 7. So I said no problem version 2 will it should just load right up. which it did. The only probelm is that it did save the patch that I had save the the track with from the version 1 Mg. it opens to the default patch! So I have like 30 tracks with Mgs in them wich I have no idea what patch i useed. I can't open them in an older version of Logic becasue the files have been changed to the newer version and are not backward compatible. This really sucks. Are all these tracs ruined now. Do I have to play a guessing game? What do I tell my clients that what a remix? I have tried emailing for support but they havent gotten back to me. I don't know why? maybe there stumped. Have any of you ran into this? I need help and quickly.

You'll have to launch the standalone v.1 of MMV, then export your patches/banks. Hopefully you've kept them fairly well organized. After you export your stuff from version 1 you can then launch version 2 and import the file(s). A pain, yes.

I always save my patches in a bank with my name, then a subfolder for each song, then a patch name with the name of the song, that way I only had to export that one bank and bring it into version 2. Pretty painless for me. Good Luck.

I'm not talking about patches I created I'm talking about just the patches that came with the plug-in!!!!  I appreciate your help! I am trying to do what you told me. but tiger won't let me open the old stand alone! and when I went to site for the update. Of corse the link is down! AWHHHHHHHHH! Anyway thanks for your help. I need more! I guess I am the only person that has run into this! everybody just had a smooth ride over. I wonder Why tech support has gotten back with me? Is there a US rep? Or phone #?
