Forwarding MIDI input to USB
« on: December 07, 2020, 06:01:34 pm »
Hi there!
I'm happy with my new Keystep however, I can't get it to receive MIDI data from my synth via MIDI input.
My setup:
A. Ableton -> USB -> Keystep MIDI out -> UNO Synth MIDI in
B. UNO Synth MIDI out -> Keystep MIDI in -> USB - Ableton.
I set the right channels on UNO Synth and in MIDI control center but I'm not getting MIDI signal in Ableton. The MIDI output works fine. The Keystep port is enabled in Ableton.
Am I doing something wrong or Keystep can't forward the MIDI input to USB?
Thanks!  :)

Same issue. I've emailed support, but no response. If the DINp in doesn't merge with the USB in, I'm failing to see what the point of that port even is. Seems like a glaring omission and super frustrating.
