Keystep in Logic Pro X
« on: August 15, 2020, 10:05:44 am »
Hi all,

My names Mikkel and Im a new member here. I just purchased the Keystep yesterday and was hoping to get it running in Logic.

My plan was to use the Keystep as a midi keyboard (and that works just fine) and use the built in Arp for both software- and hardware synths in Logic (is that possible?).

Or maybe I have understood what the Keystep really is for.. just controlling hardware synth for performing?

I tried setting it up in Logic, but its not working so far. I watched a lot of the youtube how-to videos, including setting it up as a Mackie controller - no luck.

I have a MOTU 828Mk2 as a soundcard and a virus ti + Moog Slim Phatty - would be cool to be able to use the arp on everything.

Thanks for any help you can give me :D

/Mikkel
