I literally have spent an entire day on this matter, tried every single possible ''common sense' solution to fix this issue and nothing, so here i am, hopefully someone will be able to help
I have opened a fresh project on ableton, there is nothing but an EXTERNAL INSTRUMENT on a midi channel with MiniBrute connected. The hardware is also connected to the computer via USB.
Every time i hit spacebar with the sequencer on, the sequence gets delay before or after the click, it has its on life.
Common latency usually gets delayed on a similar MS time fashion, but this issue every time i hit spacebar the sequencer is anywhere in the beat, before or after, small delay or huge delay, and if im lucky sometimes goes on the beat, where it should be.
So the Minibrute is somehow trying to keep up with the host tempo, just this variation of delay on the sequence is freaking me out, if i put sequence off, there seems to have no delay, or at least the machine behaves like i want it to.
Any lead on this ?
In preferences, i selected both instances of minibrute MIDI OUT / INS to SYNC.
Also tried every possible combination among these settings.
