Keystep PRO doesn't work on Windows 10
« on: June 20, 2020, 02:15:39 am »
I've just got my new Keystep PRO and Ableton won't recognize it at all. I managed o update the firmware on someone else's MAC,  but it didn't help.

Keystep PRO actually shows up in Midi Control Center, but it gives me "Failed to Connect" errors for anything I try to do.

I have 2 Keystep units + a Keylab Essential connected without a problem, but this one won't work.

The Keystep PRO is connected to a single port on the PC (no hub). It won't show up in the list of instruments in Ableton's LIVE MIDI Preferences.
It is also powered by Power Adapter provided by Arturia. I tried to use a different USB cable and it didn't help.

It's frustrating and hard to understand how a brand new instrument, with is basically a MIDI controller, doesn't even connect to my computer.

Any idea of what might be going on? Thank you!
