Poly CV voice selector options
« on: May 30, 2020, 08:55:05 pm »
I would love to have options for cv voice allocation when assigning more than one CV voice to a track. At the very least there should be true round robin, but ideally the options in the bitwig 3.2 beta instrument selector would be amazing.

In the absence of that, the ability to output midi independent of cv would allow me to send the midi to bitwig, do the voice allocation in there, and have it come back to the keystep pro to output CV on 4 separate channels.

I don't believe there are options for either at the moment.

Thanks!

I just discovered that the keystep pro doesn't convert incoming midi to cv like on the keystep, so the idea of using bitwig or another daw to do midi voice allocation is a moot point. Even more of a reason to have better voice allocation options. Thanks!

Massive +1 for voice allocation options, this is essential and the fact that it has been omitted is one of a pretty big list of features that seem to have been overlooked on the keystep pro. The whole thing feels like it was designed by a brand rather to meet a feature list as opposed to a product that was designed with a specific design philosophy in mind.
