Can't load one particular folder of my samples
« on: December 14, 2020, 09:05:30 pm »
Hi

Greatly enjoying Pigments. I am just now exploring using my own samples. Today I created a folder of 48K @ 24 bit samples and in the sample browser, when I open that particular folder, nothing shows up. Spent a long time discovering where the samples are stored in Pigments. Tried importing other folders of my sample at the same 48k@24 and they show up. Any ideas?

Sooo... almost all, if not all my sound recordings, both .wavs and .aifs at either 16 /44k or 24 / 48k don't load into Pigments. I know I'm doing something wrong. How does on load a personal sound into the sampler of Pigments? The manual is not helping me.

Thanks!

I drag the desired sample from my system file browser (Finder on Mac) onto the area in Pigments that shows the sample waveform. Just tried with a 40MB 48k@24bit song file (wav). Loaded instantly, worked without a hitch.

Wow - lots of work to find out it only accepts .wav files not .aif. Anybody know where it says that in the manual?? Something they need to fix!

And I've really HAD IT with the verification letters...
