I have the Toraiz Squid and a Beatstep Pro. When I chain the the Squid and Beatstep Pro, with the Squid as the master and the BSP being the next device in line, this causes problems with some of the synths, eg although I can see tempo and sync information being sent to my TB-3, the TB-3 plays the onboard pattern instead of the one programmed on the Squid, and combines the onboard pattern with the one I program in the BSP. The TB-3 then doesn’t send midi information to the AS-1, which is next in my midi chain, and subsequebtly to my System 8, which is the next device in the midi chain. And so on.
