KeyStep dead keys

my keystep stopped working one key.
When opening to check, I noticed that it is a manufacturing defect in the contact of the board.

Has anyone had this problem?

If the key worked previously, it's probably not solder, or anything permanently stuck. It looks a bit like ingress of some foreign matter, something that can happen in switches like this once in a blue moon and with some bad luck.

Are you able to remove it, not using too much force?

looks like a low quality circuit. Or a manufacturing defect. I contacted arturia... But I haven't had an answer yet.

Unfortunately these things happen on mass produced machines.
However if it was a manufacturing defect I fail to understand why it worked until now.
How old is it, and how long has it worked correctly?
If it was under warranty it's likely Arturia will consider the warranty void because you have opened it.

Not sure what you mean by "a hole in the solder"? It does look like a piece of foreign matter has gotten in there and is making the key permanently "on". Did you try to remove it? Otherwise, file a tech support ticket if you don't get anywhere.
