[SOLVED] Using 2 Beatstep Pro at the same time -Issues-
« on: October 27, 2017, 12:55:36 pm »
Hi Peeps !

So this morning I got my second Beatstep Pro.
Very happy n stuff about it.
Anyway; I wanted to use one BS set as internal and the second on clock using clock out from BS1 to clock in from BS2.

Now I have noticed that when ever I press stop on BS1 that BS2 also stops but when I hit stop again on BS1 then BS2 won't reset to the start of the sequence ??
Maybe any of you folks can help me out ?

Then second little issue,
Whenever I open the Midi Control with both my Beatsteps connected to my Mac it only can see 1 beatstep ?

Is their any kind of work around for this ?
Or do I need to switch them one by one to do my settings ?

Cheers ;)

I am not sure to understand. It should reset to the start from the very first press of the stop button. Make sure to use a TRS cable. Maybe you are using MIDI connectors instead of Clock connectors.

Yes, Midi Control Center cannot see two devices of the same type.

No workaround for this at this time.

Yes.

Thanks that sorted me out :)
Was using a simple modular jack and changed to try and now working perfect :)

Any chance this will ever be addressed, through a modifiable USB identifier of some sort?
