Assigning notes to pads of BeatStep Pro
« on: May 24, 2021, 06:42:33 pm »
Hello! I'm running into an issue with my BeatStep Pro that feels like I'm missing something obvious. I'm using it with Impact in Studio One and I'm trying to get the pads on the BSP to match the pads in Impact. Right now, the lowest pad of the BSP (bottom left) is set to C1, but the lowest pad in Impact (also bottom left) is B0. I've gone into Midi Control Center and changed the pad notes on my BSP but it doesn't seem to be saving, and remains on C1. Any info on how to save the changes? Thanks!

the BSP doesn't instantly update from the MCC (or, it doesn't for everything), so are you actually clicking "save"  & seeing the new mappings uploaded to your BSP?

(I ran into this tonight changing encoder mappings, I had to actually RTFM to find out what I was doing wrong)
