DAW - Sequencer play/stop strange behaviour
« on: June 30, 2022, 06:21:21 pm »
I use Ableton Live to sync my MicroFreak.
I use to transpose my sequences by playing them using MIDI notes but, on MF, the sequencer starts eveytime the signal comes fom DAW.
So, when i play MIDI notes from PC, the result is a sequence played from MF plus a long note that comes from MIDI.

The only way i found is to
- hit Play on Live
- hit STop on MF sequencer
- play notes on Live
- record output

Not very frienldy solution, i think.
It would be nice to have an Utility Setting where you could disable the sequencer "AUTO" play, and set it to "ON NOTE" ... or something like that.

PS: Setting Ableton's MIDI OUTPUT - REMOTE option to OFF does'nt have any effect..  :-\
