Title: How many Mgs runing at the same time with the G5?

What do you guys Think? A dual 2 gig G5 with a lot of Ram! Could be awsome! Man I can't wait! you could be using nothing but Mgs all in real time! Wow with out it choaking out! :)

G5 is fast but don't expect miracle.

You need a G5 optimized code to get real performance.

Looking at the performance of Mg, i think that is is not optimozed for G4 (Altivec)... immagine G5.

I am running a Dual 2ghz G5, with 2 gigs of ram - and I have the MMV -

Let me know what patch to use, how many simultaneous voices per instance, and I'll do a benchmark :D
