Title: Step repeat X6 X8
Post by: GuillaumeB on September 05, 2018, 12:22:53 am
(Yeaaah, I'm the one who started the topics on triplets…)

I'm finding workarouds for "tripleting" my sequences using the "shift gate" function.
But in some cases the lack of a x6 (or even x8) setting is quite frustrating.

And if you implement x6 and x8, why not a x5 or x7 for quintuplets or septuplets ?!
That would create mindblowing capabilities !

Merci !

What's the shift gate function?

When you edit a step on a gate track of the sequencer, you edit the gate time in percentage.
And when you press shift before editing, you edit the secondary function for gate which is the step repeat (x1 x2 x3 x4) that's what I meant by "shift gate". (Sometimes the brain makes funny shortcuts…)

To avoid any further confusion, I rename this topic "Step Repeat X6 X8".

Ah, makes sense! Thanks for the explanation.
