Title: CS-80 V3 imported patch not showing in browser?

I've downloaded a patch for the CS-80 V3 from Synthtopia:

I can import successfully into the latest version of CS-80 V3 but it does not show in the browser?

Can anyone advise please?

Perhaps that's not for CS-80 V3.

I guess it's the same sound.

EDIT: Poul Schilling say in a comment on the page you link to that the sound you have need  at least CS-80 V3 version 3.1. Perhaps your CS-80 version is older? EDIT END

It's the same patch I downloaded and I'm running the latest version, so not sure why the problem?

It says that it has imported ok too?

Sometimes you need to close the app and reopen. Have you tried that?
Please post a screenshot showing the banks in your CS-80 V3.

I don't think i have imported presets in the latest version of CS-80 V3. So i can't tell if there is a bug.
Have you imported the sound mechanic bank into the CS-80 version you have now?

Yes, I created that bank. I'm selling that one online and have had no problems with customers.

Although I had to contact Arturia because I needed to add a patch and had problems. They actually sorted it and sent me the updated bank.

It's probably a bug?

I think it was made with an earlier V.3 and won't import.

If I create a sound and export it will then import ok as Factory_1

It's a V3 bank and should import.
If you can export a bank and then import it now, then it to look like the import works.
But if you can't load a V3 bank, that have been imported by others, then i would say it could be a import bug in the application.
Do you have another third party bank saved with an earlier version of CS-80 V3, you can try to import?

Although I had to contact Arturia because I needed to add a patch and had problems. They actually sorted it and sent me the updated bank.
This you say about Arturia updating a bank, i find odd, if it was a V3 bank.

It's just single patches I'm trying to sort at the moment.

Must be a bug.

I do have the V Collection 6 and the single version of the CS-80 V that I had first so not sure if there is an issue with that?

I have just tried to download and import this , and it works fine.  How does it work for you?

Then it look like the issue is about the Blues bank. (The GX1 bank and the Blues bank is from the same person.) It does'nt look like it's about the CS-80 V3 application.
I can't say why you have issues with the Blues bank.
I assume the import has been tried in standalone mode.

Imported presets are stored here:
OSX: /Library/Arturia/Presets
WIN: C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets

I think i would try to see if the presets was imported, and then delete them, if they was. Then restart the computer and try to import again. Perhaps something was corrupted in the first try.

Perhaps the BluesBank somehow has been corrupted down the road.

I've tried restarting.

As I said earlier I did have problems adding a single patch to an existing bank, which Arturia sorted.

I meant restarting after having looked if the presets are located on the path i posted, even if they don't show up in CS-80, and then delete them if they are located on that path.
I think it's strange you can't import the Blues Bank.  Others have done that without issues.

Still doesn't sort out the patch issue though?

Yes but it still just show, that some apparantly have issues with this bank, while others does'nt. It does'nt explain why. It's a strange issue.

I have downloaded Paul Schillings ‘Blade Runner Blues’ Sound bank. I can import it without issues in the latest CS-80 V3 version.
As it's a free soundbank, then i have exported the bank, and attach it to this post for you to see, if you can import a version i have exported from my CS-80 V3.
Paul Schilling - if you mind this, then please tell, then i remove your Bank from my post.

removed name from where? I have changed the file name when i exported and included Paul Schillings name. But i have'nt changed bank and preset info.
The bank name does'nt include the name Paul Schilling, if that's what you mean. But i have'nt removed the name.

I have just tried to import all the availble banks.
I actually can't import the original uploaded bank from synthopia. The bank that don't work is downloaded with this file name: CS-80-BR_Blues6.2
But i can import the bank posted down the page, and i can import the Bank from the Arturia forum. As the name inculding the timestamp in the name is the same, then i guess it's excactly the same bank.

Yes. The file name is one thing the bank name another. A bank names is an attribute in a preset, and has nothing to do with the file name.

I wonder if there are issues with there other synths. I have the V Collection 6, I guess I'll find out when I start producing banks!

It's very strange, if you can load the second bank i've posted. It's a original bank, that i have downloaded from here https://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=91561.0 and should be the same bank, that you said you could'nt load earlier. Done nothing to it. You did try that download and  import out earlier?

Perhaps we are talking about a single version of a bank. That could be about the preset bank. Else a very strange thing is going on.
