Title: Weird distortion on record mode

Everytime i press record a weird distortion sound starts playing and it goes out as i press rec again to switch it off.
Everything is recorded fine and without distortion anyway but its a bit painful when i play live.
Where the hell is the distortion coming from?
Metronome is off and drum sequencer is mute.

Hi Frisbi,
You do not say which device you connected to Beat Step Pro, and how it is connected.
However, try disabling Transport CC messages in the MIDI Control Center.
