Ok, maybe a stupid question.... let's say I upgrade to version 6. What happens to my former version of 5? Does it all become integrated or remain as 2 separate software suites installed on the computer? Basically, I understand there is not yet NKS support for this version ( ???) so do I lose NKS support for everything from version 5 or jut the new instruments? Sorry im not asking this correctly or making sense.
Thanks for any answers.

I don't know about NKS. However the former V5 Collection remains installed except for Analog Lab which upgrades to version 3.

I'm certainly not an expert, having only had V5 for 3 weeks, but it looks to me like upgrading to V6 just overwrote the existing *.dll and *.exe files from V5.
For example, after upgrading to V6, I only have one copy of "ARP 2600 V3.exe" and two copies of "ARP 2600 V3.dll" (one 32-bit, and one 64-bit) on my hard drive.
I don't know if perhaps there are other files between V5 and V6 that are duplicated somewhere else on the hard drive.

Hi all,
on the VC6, NKS is still supported for instruments which were already present in VC5.
New VC6 instruments : PIANO V2 / BUCHLA EASEL V/ CLAVINET V / CMI V /DX 7 V are not nks compatible yet, but it will be ok on next VC6 update.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
best,

When do you expect the update?

Is there any update on this?
It's been 4 months since you said the .NKS support would follow in the next update and there have been updates but no .NKS
Information would be appreciated.

Hi,
We are currently working with NI on the NKS support as I speak. Should not be long now. Thanks for your patience.
